Hurray, I can finally email you. My name is Marsha Cook and I talked with you this past April when you were painting in front of Weems's in Old Town. I am very interested in having you paint a wildflower picture for my newly remodeled bathroom. I absolutely fell in love with a very large painting you had in the window of Weems Eastdale last summer. It was definitely too large for any place in my home. What I want is approximately a 16x24" (perhaps slightly larger, not smaller) vertical painting with approximately the bottom two-thirds wildflowers and the upper third green (meadow?), purple mountains, and NM sky. My bathroom has light terra cotta walls, a couple of shades darker terra cotta cabinets on the back wall, my countertop is Corian with dark terra cotta, black, and white flakes. The tile work has gold tones with a small stone terra cotta border. The sinks and jon and white. You asked me to look at different mountains you had painted--I did like the mountains on your New Mexico Vista 7/25/07. I really feel I shouldn't tell you exactly what to do because I am not the one who has the artistic talent, and that you should paint a painting you feel will look the best. If you asked me for colors off the top of my head I would say crimson, terra cotta, red, purples, white (small amt or not at all), yellow, orange(?). I definitely like the bright colors with the outlining and like the way you frame your paintings around the canvas. Since I originally learned about you from Weems, I do realize that I need to purchase my painting through Weems. The next one however I will want to purchase from you direct. I am very anxious to get my painting ordered. My painting and towels, which I'm waiting for until I get my painting, are all I need to complete my bathroom remodeling.
